Common problems and methods of series reactors

The role of the reactor in the high-voltage power distribution system: the reactors used in the power system are commonly series reactors and shunt reactors. The series reactors are mainly used to restrain short-circuit current, and are also used in series or parallel with capacitors in the filter. It is used to restrain the high-order harmonics in the power grid. The series reactor (capacitive reactor) is generally connected in series in the high-voltage power capacitor or capacitor bank circuit. Its main function is to restrain the high-order harmonics, reduce the distortion of the network voltage waveform, and restrain the capacitor. The inrush current when the phase is cut and switched. 1. The winding is short-circuited between turns and burned.

In the production process of the reactor, because the insulating medium of the copper wire is damaged or the insulating medium of the copper wire is damaged during the winding coiling process, and then by working in the circuit for a long time, part of the insulating medium is severely damaged, resulting in a short circuit between some turns, resulting in a large current. 2. The reactor temperature rise is unreasonably designed and damaged.

② Consider the temperature rise of the winding and the iron core, and the connection between the temperature rise and the insulating material.

③ The influence of magnetic flux leakage on the reactor and the influence of the overall structure on the temperature rise should be considered.

3. The insulation distance of the reactor is small and the breakdown is caused.

In the design of the reactor, the distance between the live body such as the winding, the incoming and outgoing leads, and the iron core, clips and other grounding terminals and the incoming and outgoing wire terminals should also be considered.
