The noise of series reactors is a technical policy that cannot be ignored, and iron core series reactors (capacitive reactors) are no exception.

The unevenness of the noise policy indicates the design capability and technological level of the manufacturer. The main noise source of the iron core series reactor (capacitive reactor) noise is the iron core, that is, the hysteresis elasticity of the silicon steel sheet is affected by its material and the stress of the fastened iron core. There is a linear relationship between the magnetic flux in the iron core and the current flowing through the winding. This nonlinear inductive reactance is formed by the properties of the ferromagnetic material, not by thermal effects. The higher the magnetic flux density selected for product design , the noise must be larger, and the higher-order harmonic components will be more. For the iron core series reactor (capacitive reactor) with air gap, there are several iron core cakes in each column, and the noise policy is very important, so There are noise reduction methods as follows.

1. The material of the silicon steel sheet is an important factor affecting the noise. The noise can be reduced by reducing the magnetic density, but be careful not to reduce the magnetic density too much, otherwise the manufacturing cost will be greatly increased. Generally, the magnetic density is controlled at 0.8-1.2 T. It can also be Use silicon steel sheet with small magneto-elasticity to reduce the noise of the product.

2. Improve the processing technology of the iron core and the assembly process of the iron core to reduce the noise of the product. It is required that the silicon steel sheet should be flat when the iron core is processed, and the edge burrs of the silicon steel sheet should be reduced. Adhesive or epoxy glued together to reduce noise.

3. Increase the heat dissipation air duct of the winding, that is, increase the heat dissipation area, and then cancel the cooling equipment of the reactor, which also eliminates the noise caused by the cooling equipment.

4. Carefully select the reactance rate and reactance value of the series reactor, which can also reduce the noise in the work of the reactor. When the reactance value of the reactor is not selected properly, some high-order harmonics cannot be filtered out, and the main magnetic flux in the iron core is distorted , the noise of the reactor increases.
