Reasons for the sound of the transformer of the electroslag furnace

1. Normal and lack of phase. When the electroslag furnace transformer is energized, the normal situation is: one phase is sent, because no current flows, so the transformer does not make sound. When sending 2 phases, because the high-voltage side current loop is connected, it will emits a small uniform electromagnetic "hum". The electromagnetic "hum" increases as the 3-phase current passes. Assuming an anomaly occurs (such as when the 2-phase fails), there is still no sound when the 2-phase is sent, The sound is only made when 3 stages are sent; assuming the 3 stages don't communicate, the sound doesn't change, just like 2 stages.

There are roughly three reasons for the lack of single-phase power supply: (1) the power supply lacks one-phase power supply; (2) the high-voltage fuse of the equipment fuses one phase; (3) the equipment is improperly transported, the high-voltage wire is too thin, and the vibration is disconnected.

2. The tap-changer is in poor contact. After the equipment is put into operation, if the tap-changer is in poor contact, there will be a "humming" sound. In severe cases, the high-voltage fuse will blow and the fuse will fall. Assuming that the tap is connected Poor switch contact will produce a subtle "squeak" spark discharge sound. Once the load increases, the tap changer will be burned out.

3. Drop the foreign object and loosen the screw. When the core screw that clamps the iron core of the transformer of the electroslag furnace is loose, and there is a nut or a small metal object on the iron core falling into the equipment, a hammering sound of "ding ding" will be issued. Or "humming" blower sounds and "squeaking" sounds, but the voltage, current and temperature of the device are normal.

4. The dead center of the device is damaged. When the dead center of the device is connected to the air, it will emit a subtle "beep" sound.

5. The external circuit is damaged or short-circuited. When the line is disconnected at the wire connection or T connection, the line is disconnected when there is wind, and an arc will be generated when touched. When the low-voltage line has a grounding or short-circuit fault, it will make a "boom" sound; Assuming the short circuit is closed, there will be a roaring sound.

6. The transformer of the electroslag furnace is overloaded. When the equipment is severely overloaded, it will emit a deep "humming" sound.

7. The winding is short-circuited. When there is a short-circuit between the layers or turns in the equipment winding, the sound of boiling water will be heard.
